This page explains what ToolsHub does with files and data when you use the tools.

Files processed in your browser

Tools marked “Files stay on your device” process everything locally. Your files are read by code running in your browser and are not uploaded to our servers.

Files and data processed on the server

Some tools need the server to do their job. When a tool uploads a file, it is stored under a random name in a private temporary folder, used only to produce your result, and deleted automatically within 30 minutes. When a tool fetches a web address you enter, we request that address and return the result to you.

Usage statistics

We record anonymous events such as “tool opened” or “conversion completed” to understand which tools are used and where errors happen. These records contain the tool name and event type. They do not contain your files, the text you enter or your IP address.

Cookies and local storage

Your colour-theme choice is saved in your browser's local storage. A session cookie is set only when you use a server-based tool, to protect the request against forgery. If advertising or third-party analytics are enabled on this site, those providers may set their own cookies.

Short links

The URL shortener stores the destination address and a visit counter so that the short link can work.
