Excel to PDF features
All sheets or one
Export the whole workbook, with each sheet starting on a new page, or just the sheet you pick.
Repeating header row
The first row of each sheet is repeated at the top of every page so long tables stay readable.
Automatic orientation
Wide sheets are switched to landscape and the font is reduced so more columns fit.
Formatted values
Dates, currencies and percentages appear as they do in the spreadsheet, not as raw numbers.
Private by default
The workbook is read and converted in your browser.

Excel to PDF FAQ
Are charts and images included?
Not with the in-browser converter, which exports cell data as tables. Charts, pictures, cell colours and conditional formatting are omitted. Where the high-fidelity server engine is offered, they are included.
My table is cut off on the right. What can I do?
Choose landscape orientation and a larger page size such as A3, or hide unneeded columns in the spreadsheet before converting. Very wide sheets are easier to read when split into several sheets.
Are formulas converted?
The PDF shows the calculated results that were saved in the file. Formulas themselves are not shown.
Can I convert a CSV file?
Yes. CSV files are treated as a workbook with a single sheet.
Is there a row limit?
Up to 5,000 rows per sheet are exported to keep the PDF a practical size. Larger sheets are truncated and a note is shown.
Fitting a spreadsheet onto pages
A spreadsheet is an unbounded grid, while a PDF has fixed pages. The main challenge in converting between them is width: a sheet with fifteen columns will not fit a portrait A4 page at a readable font size. This converter measures the number of columns in each sheet, switches to landscape when that helps, and scales the text down in steps so that typical tables fit without being cut off.
Rows flow naturally onto as many pages as they need, and the first row is treated as a header and repeated on each page. Values are taken as they are displayed in the spreadsheet, so a cell formatted as currency or a date appears the same way in the PDF. For print-perfect output including charts and cell styling, export to PDF from the spreadsheet application itself.
A little preparation in the spreadsheet makes a large difference to the PDF. Hide or delete helper columns that readers do not need, give the header row short, clear labels, and format numbers consistently, for example with the same number of decimals in each column. Very wide sheets are often easier to read when split into two tables or transposed. Keep the original spreadsheet as the working file and treat the PDF as a snapshot to share, print or archive.
